What is citizen science? How do scientists see it and what do they think about citizen in science?
Monika Mačiulienė
Citizen engagement in active science can be described in many ways. However, the most widely used term at present is citizen science, which describes the process whereby any of us can voluntarily contribute to a specific research project led by scientists. We are starting a dialogue with researchers who are already involved in citizen science projects, or who are otherwise involved in citizen science, inviting them to share their experiences and insights into this still little-known area of science in Lithuania.
The interviewee of this interview is Dr. Monika Mačiulienė, Associate Professor at the Department of Creative Communication at Vilnius Tech and Head of the Lithuanian Citizen Science Association.
